We know there are many sites out there which try to help people find businesses in local areas. What better site to be involved with than one which is being used by the very local residents and visitors you are trying to reach? This site is designed with local Des Moines residents in mind, and also targeted to visitors or people who may be new to the area. We take a personal interest in the success of Des Moines' south side, and we put in the extra time and effort to make sure visitors to this site get the results they're looking for (unlike bigger sites which try to cover the whole country, and rely exclusively on user information to stay up to date). If you have a business, non-profit organization, club, or other group located on the south side of Des Moines (the area shown on the map), we would love to include you on this site. There is no cost to be listed on the site (click here for more details if you aren't already listed), and you do not have to become an official member of the site to be listed. However, there are additional benefits to becoming a member.

Membership includes:

1. Upgraded listing

As a member of this site, you'll receive a login id and password which gives you access to your listing. When logged in, you'll be able to customize your listing by:

• Uploading a Logo
• Adding or changing "Tags" (keywords which are used when people search the site)
• Adding your website address (clickable, links to your site)
• Adding a "Description" (text which describes your organization, lists your hours of operation, etc).

2. Ability to post and edit events on the Community Calendar

As a member of this site, the login id and password you are given also allows you special access to the Community Calendar section of the website. The general public using the site can view the various events coming up on the calendar, but as a member you will be able to log in and create new events to let everyone know what your organization has planned.

3. Discounted rates on advertising

You do not need to be a member to advertise on this site. However, as a member, you are helping this site and the entire South Des Moines area continue to grow. To show our appreciation, you will receive significant discounts should you decide to also place ads on this site.
