New Updates to the South Side Des Moines Directory

Big changes have been happening on the South Side of Des Moines since our last major update. Unfortunately, some businesses have closed or moved in the last few months, most notably Cup O' Kryptonite coffee and comic store, and many of the stores in Southridge Mall (as it goes through a major renovation). However, there are also signs of new growth, with new locations for Kum N Go, US Cellular, New 2 U Computers, and new restaurants, such as Pomodoro's Italian Cuisine, Lina's Mexican restaurant, and Cozy Cafe. These are just some of the many new retail stores, restaurants, hair stylists, chiropractors, and other businesses now listed on the website - check them out by category or search by keyword to find what you're most interested in.

It's exciting to see people starting new companies, renovating existing locations, and even adding new locations on the south side. By supporting local businesses, you are encouraging more people to move their business to your neighborhood, and even more of the money spent is kept in your local economy.

We've also run through many of the current listings on the site to clean some things up. There are still some businesses without complete information and we're sure there are many more in-home or hard-to-find businesses in the area.
